I started my working career as a graduate Food Technologist in the Food Industry. However, my love of sport and interest in health, fitness and medical matters led me to retrain as a Sports Therapist 12 years later.
Qualifying with a Higher Diploma in Sports Therapy in 2001, I opened my business Activate Sports Therapy shortly afterwards.
I enjoy building close relationships with people whilst improving their mobility, health and performance using hands-on treatments. I value the friendships and trusts I have developed with my clients over the years – in fact some of my very first clients are still regulars!
My aim is that my treatments can make a real difference to someone’s well-being, whether elite competitors or over-worked office staff.
Once a competitive athlete, I now enjoy the more relaxed pace of recreational cycling, running, walking and swimming in the local lido!
I am a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) and Independent Professional Therapists International (IPTI)
I enjoy being able to further my knowledge and skills through my CPD studies. I also hold qualifications in Kinesio Taping, Core Stability Training, Football Association certificates, a current First Aid certificate, and others.
